The multi-phased program that has seen thousands of communities participate to prove they have the most hockey spirit in Canada. You WISH you could be Hockeyville 2010.
Hockeyville 2010 comes to us for the third time, and this time around we have done a complete overhaul of the visuals, functionality and features of the very popular social media program.
If you just crawled out from under a rock (no offense, but seriously this is epic, it’s that big) and are hearing about Hockeyville for the very first time, this is what it’s about. Kraft’s Hockeyville on CBC is a program that searches for a town in Canada that truly represents the spirit of Hockey. The very lucky town that gets crowned Hockeville gets $100,000 towards renovations of their hockey arena and an NHL preseason game played there. It’s a program that reaches the hearts of Canadian’s from New Foundland to Victoria and has seen participation in the millions and growing each year.
Our third instalment of the very successful Hockeyville franchise we wanted to give the program a facelift. It comes with a brand new design and some very cool functionality as well, allowing users to upload their favourite videos to a custom YouTube Channel, an automatically populated Twitter feed and a host of new functionality.
The multi-phased program has seen thousands of communities participate and really show the spirit of hockey in Canada. It’s great to be able to develop the online portion of this program with the CBC and we are very excited to see how this years performs.
